Join the abdominal organ transplant, heart transplant, lung transplant teams and more as they honor organ and tissue donors, and also celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first heart transplant at Temple University Hospital.
During this assembly, you will also hear touching stories from donor recipients, who will share insights about how their lives were completely changed after receiving the ultimate gift from their donors. Finally, after hearing from these patients, join the group outside the entrance to the hospital to raise a Gift of Life flag, commemorating National Donate Life Month.
