Multiple Sclerosis Program

The Temple Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Program provides advanced diagnosis and innovative treatment for all types of multiple sclerosis. MS is a challenging disease, but it doesn't have to keep you from living a full life.

At Temple, treatment and support focus on your total health:

  • Managing chronic symptoms

  • Slowing down or stopping the progression of the disease

  • Providing care when MS relapses do occur

  • Helping you and your loved ones navigate the emotional impact of the disease

Comprehensive Care for a Complex Condition

MS is a complex disease that requires comprehensive care. A neurologist leads your care team and provides a comprehensive exam to make an accurate diagnosis and recommend the most effective treatment plan.

Your treatment is personalized based on your needs and may include nurse practitioners, pharmacotherapists, urologists, neuropsychologists, nurses, social workers and physical, occupational and speech therapists. They contribute specialized skills to manage and treat the disease and your symptoms.

When you choose Temple's MS Program, you're choosing some of the Philadelphia area's top MS specialists. They're dedicated to helping you overcome challenges and take more control of the disease and your health. At Temple, we know we're caring for people, not just treating a disease. You can count on us every step of the way.

Treatment Options

At Temple, we offer the latest technologies, medications and therapies — along with access to innovative clinical trials — to treat and manage MS:

  • Treatment of relapses, including on-site or at-home administration of steroids
