Heart failure is a progressive condition in which the heart muscle weakens and gradually loses its ability to pump enough blood to supply the body’s needs. It’s frighteningly common, affecting over 5 million Americans, but often under recognized.
February 14-20 is National Heart Failure Awareness Week. Join the Temple Heart & Vascular Institute for a series of educational sessions and activities to learn more about this serious condition and how to manage the symptoms.
