Can you hear that? It’s the sound of holiday carolers singing festive favorites like “Feliz Navidad,” “Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland,” and “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” to the delight of patients and Temple Health team members alike!
This year, caroling took place at TUH-Main Campus, Jeanes Campus, and (for the first time!) Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital, where each day at 1:00 pm, staff members gathered to sing carols on a different unit.
At Jeanes, members of the Memorial Presbyterian Church of Fox Chase—led by Pastor Timothy Wotring—visited campus to sing for patients on December 15th. Memorial Presbyterian is just minutes from Jeanes and Fox Chase Cancer Center, and the church’s Food for Hope Pantry is the beneficiary of the Holiday Food Drive held at Jeanes each year.
At TUH-Main Campus, team members gathered on December 19th for what has become a beloved annual tradition: going floor-by-floor through the hospital singing holiday favorites, led by the Office of Patient Experience.
At each campus, staff working on the units joined in the caroling, as did many of our patients—sharing special cheer this season!
