Afton Metkowski, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine, was honored with the November 2024 Temple Faculty Physicians (TFP) Physicians Kudos Award. Dr. Metkowski was nominated by Sylvia Hsu, MD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Dermatology.
“Dr. Metkowski is thoughtful, kind, caring, and generous,” Dr. Hsu wrote in her nomination. “She always helps everyone and comes to work every day with a smile on her face. She is a very skilled clinician who sets a great example for our residents. It’s such a pleasure to work with her!”
