Christopher Combs, PhD, Associate Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was honored with the January 2025 Temple Faculty Physicians (TFP) Physician Kudos Award. Dr. Combs, who works in the Department of Psychiatry, was nominated by Jessica G. Kovach, MD, Chair and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and Director of the Psychiatry Residency Program at Temple University Hospital:
"Dr. Combs is a longstanding member of our department. He has a large role in our educational program and has educated many of our faculty members! I am nominating him because he is an outstanding colleague. His positive demeanor and sense of humor are greatly appreciated by all of our faculty. He is also extremely generous with his knowledge and happy to share and teach not just our residents, but also our faculty. He has led faculty development seminars for us and is very flexible in doing so. He also generously helps his colleagues with statistics, which we very much appreciate!”
