6ABC and CBS3 covered the Temple Lung Center’s COPD education event and screening of the film “Remembering Leonard Nimoy.” The Lung Center collaborated with the Nimoy Foundation on the event. Leonard Nimoy, best known for his portrayal of the character Mr. Spock in the “Star Trek” TV and film series, was diagnosed with COPD in 2013 and dedicated the remaining years of his life to increasing awareness of the condition. The Philadelphia Tribune also published a preview ahead of the event.
