March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month, and Temple Health and Fox Chase Cancer Center held events throughout the month to promote education, awareness and prevention. On March 19th, Temple University Hospital hosted a guided, interactive walk through a giant inflatable colon where participants could learn more about various colon conditions. Providers were also available to provide free FIT (fecal immunochemical test) kits. 6ABC, NBC10 and Telemundo62 highlighted the event.
