The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University held a one-week free mini-med school program designed to expose Philadelphia high school students to the medical profession. The initiative was created to inspire and prepare students who are underrepresented in medicine by providing them with a comprehensive introduction to medical education and the various career paths within health professions. The program reflects the Katz School of Medicine’s broader mission to promote health equity and inclusion in the medical workforce. 6ABC was on site for the program’s interactive CPR class.
