Scott Charles, Trauma Outreach Manager at Temple University Hospital, served as an expert panelist for the virtual event “Firearm Injury: An Escalating Health Crisis,” presented by the American College of Physicians (ACP) and Annals of Internal Medicine. ACP Internist recapped the January 11th event, which discussed what health care professionals can do to reduce the adverse impact of guns on patients’ health. The panelists responded to case-based vignettes and audience questions.
