Jennifer Trinh, MD, a third-year psychiatry resident at Temple University Hospital, presented findings related to the study, “All the lonely people: a qualitative and quantitative study of factors influencing perceived social isolation in urban minority women in midlife,” at the 175th Annual Meeting of the American Psychiatric Association. Susan G. Fisher, MS, PhD, Chair and Professor of Clinical Sciences at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) and Associate Cancer Center Director for Community Outreach and Health Disparities at Fox Chase Cancer Center, and Mary Morrison, MD, MS, FACP, Vice Chair of Research, Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at LKSOM and Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at LKSOM, were co-authors. HealthDay highlighted the research, and the coverage was picked up by Physician’s Weekly.
