A Becker’s Hospital Review article highlighted that Temple University Hospital (TUH) performed the most lung transplants (138) from July 2020 to June 2021, making it the No. 1 volume program in the nation, according to new data from the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients (SRTR). The TUH lung transplant program has the best one-year survival outcomes in the region, and outperforms national rates, according to the latest SRTR data. Temple has performed more lung transplants than any other program in the nation over the past seven years, according to SRTR accumulated data from January 2015-January 2022.
