As part of the Temple Healthy Chest Initiative, radiologists and physicians are using Coreline AI software to identify three common chest morbidities on one low-dose CT scan to aid earlier detection and enable more personalized treatment options. Gerard Criner, MD, FACP, FACCP, Director of the Temple Lung Center and Chair and Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, spoke to Becker’s Hospital Review about the clinical and financial benefits of integrating AI into the lung cancer screening initiative.
