BET Highlights Hope Center’s Recent Work on Basic Needs Insecurity at Historically Black Colleges and Universities

BET highlighted the Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice’s recent work on basic needs insecurity at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The article noted that food insecurity is a challenge for nearly half of the 5,000 HBCU students surveyed by the Hope Center. More than 50 percent of the students surveyed were also housing insecure.
