Beard, MD, MPH, FACS, Associate Professor of Surgery and Director of Trauma Research at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, is also the Director of Research at PCGVR and a Stoneleigh Foundation fellow. Dr. Beard and her research teams have previously examined how shooting events are reported in public news media.
