Temple Health hosted the 2024 Acres of Diamonds Gala on May 30th at Citizens Bank Park for Philly’s night out for hope, healing and wellness. The 2024 Gala marked the event’s 69th year. The co-chairs – Steven R. Carson, MHA, BSN, RN, Senior Vice President of Population Health for Temple Health and CEO, Temple Center for Population Health, LLC, and the Philadelphia Phillies’ 2008 World Series Champion Ryan Howard and his wife Krystle Howard – helped to honor the life-changing impact and legacy of Project HOME co-founders Sister Mary Scullion and Joan Dawson McConnon with the Diamond Award, the highest honor bestowed by Temple University Hospital.
