CBS3 shone a spotlight on Amy J. Goldberg, MD, FACS, Interim Dean and George S. Peters, MD and Louise C. Peters Chair and Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Surgeon-in-Chief of Temple University Health System, in a Women’s History Month segment highlighting those making a difference in the community across the Philadelphia region. The CBS3 piece highlighted Dr. Goldberg’s roles as interim dean, trauma surgeon, advocate against gun violence, and mentor to others, including Zoe Maher, MD, Associate Professor of Surgery at the Katz School of Medicine.
