Sarah Brackett, who lives in Manassas, Virginia, chronicled her journey to diagnosis and treatment of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) on the phaware podcast, which focuses on pulmonary hypertension. The podcast series was then featured in The Mighty, an online health community where people share stories. Ms. Brackett described how she ended up traveling to Temple University Hospital (TUH) and recounted the treatment she received from the care team and Paul Forfia, MD, Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of Pulmonary Hypertension, Right Heart Failure & the CTEPH Program at TUH.
