Gangemi, MD, Assistant Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Medical Director of Respiratory Therapy and the Bronchoscopy Suite at Temple University Hospital-Jeanes Campus, provided perspective for a Healio Pulmonology article about a study published in the Annals of the American Thoracic Society which found mask wearing showed no negative oxygenation or hemodynamic changes in patients with COPD.
