Ellen Unterwald, PhD, Chair and Professor in the Department of Neural Sciences and Director and Professor in the Center for Substance Abuse Research at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, offered insight to the Philadelphia Inquirer for an article about the Public Health Benefits of Psilocybin Act, a bill introduced in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives that would establish a framework for clinical studies of psilocybin, the active ingredient in magic mushrooms.
