Dr. Gerard Criner and Lung Center Patient Featured in AARP Magazine Article about the Latest Medical Breakthroughs

Gerard J. Criner, MD, FACP, FACCP, Chair and Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of the Temple Lung Center, and patient Jim Hogan were featured in an AARP Magazine article detailing some of the latest medical breakthroughs. Dr. Criner and Mr. Hogan spoke about the Zephyr Endobronchial Valves. Temple University Hospital was the first U.S. center to perform bronchoscopic lung volume reduction using the valves to treat severe emphysema following U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval.
