As part of the American Lung Association’s 2020 State of Tobacco Control report, Jamie Garfield, MD, Associate Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University; Assistant Chief Quality Officer at Temple Faculty Physicians; and Director of Quality and Improvement and Patient Safety, Internal Medicine Residency, at Temple University Hospital shared the impact she has seen tobacco have on her patients. Dr. Garfield is a National Volunteer Medical Spokesperson for the ALA.
