Dr. Lauren Koffman Hosts Episode of Neurocritical Care Society Podcast Focused on One Woman’s Story of Hope after Fall that Caused Multiple Traumatic Brain Injuries

Lauren Koffman, DO, MS, Medical Director of the Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit, hosted an episode of the Neurocritical Care Society Podcast that focused on Elisabeth Beraquit’s story of hope. In May 2014, Elisabeth was in Boston and fell through the faulty doors of an elevator into an empty shaft, landing 30 feet below on top of the elevator car. She suffered multiple traumatic brain injuries. 10 years later and Elisabeth is thriving and running her own business in Philadelphia.
