Lawrence H. Brent, MD, MACR, Professor of Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was recently recognized as an American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Master, one of the highest honors the College bestows. The designation is conferred on ACR members age 65 or older by Oct. 1 of the year in which they are nominated, upon those who have made outstanding contributions to the ACR and the field of rheumatology through scholarly achievement and/or service to their patients, students and profession. Dr. Brent’s response to the question, “What does recognition as an ACR Master mean to you?” appeared in an article in the Rheumatologist.
