Margot Savoy, MD, MPH, FAAFP, FABC, FAAPL, CPE, CMQ, Adjunct Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Adjunct Associate Professor of Urban Bioethics and Population Health at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided perspective for a Healio Primary Care article on a recent study published in JAMA Internal Medicine which found that Black students had greater than 50 percent odds of leaving MD-PhD programs compared with their peers.
