Margot Savoy, MD, MPH, FAAFP, Adjunct Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine and Adjunct Associate Professor of Urban Bioethics and Population Health at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided perspective to Healio Primary Care about a Family Practice study on women family physicians’ working conditions and career satisfaction. The study found that women family physicians generally reported high overall career satisfaction but were less satisfied with working conditions like pay, personal time and administrative tasks. Dr. Savoy was not involved with the study.
