Maria Elena Vega-Sanchez, MD, Assistant Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Associate Program Director of the Pulmonary Fellowship Program, was interviewed by Univisión 65 for two segments that aired on “Conexión,” its community empowerment show. In the first piece, Dr. Vega-Sanchez spoke about lung conditions she treats – including asthma, COPD and emphysema – and then elaborated further on lung cancer, smoking cessation and e-cigarettes. In the second piece, she discussed sleep apnea and insomnia.
