Dr. Maura Sammon Provides Perspective to the New York Times on Coronavirus Concerns at Refugee Camp along U.S.-Mexico Border

Maura Sammon, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was recently interviewed by the New York Times. Dr. Sammon is the Medical Director of Global Response Management, a nonprofit volunteer organization providing medical care at Matamoros, the largest refugee camp along the United States-Mexico border. She spoke about how COVID-19 is impacting operations at the camp.
