Selzer, MD, PhD, Professor of Neural Sciences and Professor in the Shriners Hospitals Pediatric Research Center at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided expert commentary to Neurology Today on a paper published online in Nature Medicine about epidural electrical stimulation (EES) that has enabled three individuals with complete sensorimotor paralysis to stand, take steps, cycle and swim with support.
