Molly C. Cincotta, MD, Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided perspective for a UPI article on a study published in JAMA Neurology which suggests that loneliness may be associated with a significant increased risk of developing Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Cincotta was not involved in the study.
