The Philadelphia Inquirer interviewed Natalia Ortiz-Torrent, MD, FAPA, FAPM, FPCP, Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Medical Director of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry at Temple University Hospital, for its 5 Questions feature. The article addressed social determinants of health and disparities in medical care. Dr. Ortiz-Torrent was recently elected president of the Philadelphia County Medical Society for June 2020-June 2021. She is the first Hispanic woman to hold the position in the history of the organization.
