Natalia Ortiz-Torrent, MD, FAPA, FAPM, FPCP, Professor of Clinical Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Medical Director of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry at Temple University Hospital, participated in a Philadelphia Inquirer live panel, where she discussed her personal and professional experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Ortiz-Torrent touched on topics including living in a multigenerational household during the pandemic, caring for patients, partnering with organizations to help connect the Spanish-speaking community with COVID-19 resources and vaccines, managing stress, and the importance of mentorship and leadership.
