Robert S. Boova, MD, Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at Jeanes Hospital, Vice Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at Temple University Hospital and Professor of Clinical Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, recently met with U.S. Representative Mary Gay Scanlon, D-PA, to discuss cardiothoracic surgery priorities, the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) national database, health care access, gun violence, the opioid crisis and other topics. Dr. Boova’s visit was featured in the “Key Contact Connect” section of the STS Advocacy Monthly.
