Rohit Soans, MD, Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at Temple University Hospital and Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was interviewed by FOX29’s “Good Day Philadelphia” and KYW Newsradio about a new survey from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showing that about 40 percent of Americans are obese, and almost 10 percent have severe obesity.
