Criner, MD, FACP, FACCP, Chair and Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of the Temple Lung Center, and Jamie Garfield, MD, Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery and Core Clinical Educator at the Katz School of Medicine and Director of Quality and Improvement and Patient Safety, Core Clinical Faculty, Internal Medicine Residency at Temple University Hospital, offered insight to AARP for an article about lung disease symptoms that should not be ignored. Dr. Criner also advocated for early detection and treatment of lung conditions, and Dr. Garfield discussed how to lower one’s risk for lung diseases.
