Life Sciences Pennsylvania handed out its annual awards virtually on Wednesday night, and Fox Chase Cancer Center received the Patient Impact Award for advancing a new method for the early detection of lung cancer. Criner, MD, FACP, FACCP, Chair and Professor of Thoracic Medicine and Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Director of the Temple Lung Center, was recognized as a “Hero of COVID-19” during the annual awards program.
