Healio highlighted a Temple study published in the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery that explored survival outcomes between older and younger lung transplant recipients. Roh Yanagida, MD, PhD, FACS, Associate Professor of Surgery at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, was interviewed about the results, which found lung transplant recipients aged 70 or older had similar five-year survival to recipients younger than 70.
