David O’Gurek, MD, Associate Professor of Family and Community Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM), spoke with Healio Primary Care about the Begin the Turn program, a patient-centered, trauma-informed intervention program for substance use disorder based at LKSOM’s Center for Urban Bioethics. The program marked its one-year anniversary this summer and was covered in the Annals of Family Medicine journal.
