Mark Huelsman, Director of Policy and Advocacy at the Hope Center for College, Community and Justice at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, co-authored an op-ed in the Hill about how policymakers and institutional leaders can ensure the cost of transportation does not pose an additional financial burden for college students as campuses re-open. A study by the Hope Center, which found that offering students discounted transportation fares increased the likelihood of staying enrolled and graduating college in Los Angeles, was also cited in the feature.
