Kaitlin Nguyen, a student at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, participated in a Q&A with Pennsylvania Medical Society News about her award-winning poster “Characterization of Retransplantation Following Graft Failure Due to BK Virus Nephropathy.” Kaitlin worked with Antonio Di Carlo, MD, CM, FACS, FRCSC, Professor of Surgery and Chief of Abdominal Organ Transplant Surgery at the Katz School of Medicine, Surgical Director of Kidney, Liver and Pancreas Transplantation and Living Donation at Temple University Hospital, and Chief of Transplantation at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children; and Sunil S. Karhadkar, MD, FACS, Associate Professor of Surgery at the Katz School of Medicine, to develop the project.
