The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University held its annual White Coat Ceremony on August 9th, presenting incoming medical students in the Class of 2028 with the white coats that symbolize clinical medicine and the physician’s professional ethics. Michele Elaine Hackley Johnson, MD, FACR, a 1979 Katz School of Medicine graduate, delivered the Keynote Address. 6ABC, CBS3, and the Philadelphia Tribune covered the event. CBS3 interviewed Dr. Johnson and incoming medical student Abby Chang. The segment also featured comments from Amy J. Goldberg, MD, FACS, The Marjorie Joy Katz Dean at the Katz School of Medicine.
