Local Media Outlets Include Temple University Health System’s Preparations in Their Coronavirus Coverage

Tony S. Reed, MD, MBA, Chief Medical Officer of Temple University Hospital (TUH), spoke with NBC10 and 6ABC about how the health system is preparing for the coronavirus (COVID-19). Those precautions were also featured in Philadelphia Business Journal and Philadelphia magazine articles on the subject. Curtis Miyamoto, MD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Associate Director for Clinical Services at Fox Chase Cancer Center at TUH, provided comments to the Philadelphia Inquirer about how the virus has led to discrimination against the Asian community, as well as misinformation that has reached the public. His comments followed a coronavirus panel event held at the Free Library of Philadelphia.
