A Medscape article highlighted a presentation at the annual meeting of the American College of Cardiology by Anjali Vaidya, MD, FACC, FASE, FACP, Co-Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension, Right Heart Failure & Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) Program at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Vaidya’s presentation emphasized the importance of looking at the right heart when assessing how a patient with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is faring on therapy and provided several tools and tips for optimal management of PAH, including a new Virtual Echocardiography Screening Tool (VEST) in development.
