6ABC-TV and Temple Health collaborated on a sponsored segment about heart failure and Heart Failure Awareness Week. This year, Heart Failure Awareness Week culminates on Valentine’s Day, and the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Program at the Temple Heart & Vascular Institute planned a series of events for patients and caregivers, including hands-on CPR, a heart-healthy cooking demonstration & lunch, and laughter yoga. The segment featured Eman A. Hamad, MD, FACC, FHFSA, Director of the Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Program at Temple University Hospital; and Linda Ruppert, DNP, CRNP, Heart Failure Program Coordinator.
