6ABC-TV and Temple Health collaborated on a sponsored segment about a program launched by Temple Health in collaboration with Fox Chase Cancer Center and the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University to improve access to screening for colorectal cancer. The program brings free stool-based fecal immunochemical test (FIT) kits to the community – making them available at grocery stores, church and neighborhood events, health fairs, even the hospital lobby. The segment featured Christopher Grivas, MD, MBA, Internal Medicine Resident; Brianna Graham, MD, Internal Medicine Resident; and Daniel Kotas, fourth-year student at the Katz School of Medicine. Becker’s GI & Endoscopy picked up the Moves in Medicine piece.
