Multiple Media Outlets Highlight How Temple Boosted Lung Health Testing in Temple Healthy Chest Initiative with Campaign that Addressed Barriers to Care

Research presented at the American Thoracic Society International Conference showed how a Temple team developed an approach to boost rates of lung cancer screenings in its Temple Healthy Chest Initiative by leaning on specific marketing and messaging tactics that addressed screening barriers. The long nodule detection program saw an increase in low-dose CT for Black, Hispanic and female patients after addressing screening barriers.
