The Standard-Speaker profiled patient Thomas Puskar, the first patient at Temple and the first in Pennsylvania to benefit from the TransMedics Organ Care System for Lung, or OCS Lung. Temple University Hospital was the first hospital in the state to perform a breathing lung transplant using the OCS Lung following U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval of the device for standard and expanded criteria donor lungs.
