View All News

NBC10 shined the spotlight on Philadelphia CeaseFire, an anti-violence program based in the Lewis Katz School of Medicine’s Center for Bioethics, Urban Health and Policy, in a recent segment. Marla Davis-Bellamy, JD, MGA, Director of Philadelphia CeaseFire, and Nyerere Parks, mother of Will Parks, Philadelphia native and starting safety for the Denver Broncos, were interviewed for the piece. The two spoke extensively about Will’s choice of Philadelphia CeaseFire for the NFL’s three-week “My Cause, My Cleats” campaign as well as his recent donation to the program.
