Grace X. Ma, PhD, Associate Dean for Health Disparities, Director of the Center for Asian Health, Laura H. Carnell Professor, and Professor of Clinical Sciences at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, provided expert insight on cancer health disparities to the National Institutes of Health for its monthly News in Health newsletter. Dr. Ma discussed how her team is tackling disparities in hepatitis screening and treatment among recent Asian immigrants through the use of a “virtual navigator.”
