Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition Presents Dr. Richard Pomerantz with $50,000 Grant for BRCA1 and BRCA2 Research

Richard T. Pomerantz, PhD, Associate Professor of Medical Genetics and Molecular Biochemistry and Associate Professor in the Fels Institute for Cancer Research and Molecular Biology at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University, has been awarded a $50,000 research grant from the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition (PBCC). Dr. Pomerantz will use the funding to identify new treatments for cells that are affected by the BRCA1 or BRCA2 genetic mutations. 6ABC attended the check presentation event recognizing Dr. Pomerantz.
